George Nawar Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who
George Nawar has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his career achievements.
OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, September 18, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- George Nawar has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his career achievements. As Director of Engineering with Telesat, as well as throughout his brilliant career, Mr. Nawar has consistently displayed the vision, thoroughness and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Mr. Nawar has successfully managed - in the broad context of satellite communication systems - feasibility studies and system design, RFP preparations, bidder evaluations and contract negotiations, satellite systems procurements, due diligence evaluations, launch services and insurance procurements. Previously in charge of international consulting services, he now manages Telesat's engineering: advanced systems engineering, research and development, space segment design, traffic planning, network engineering, civil engineering and installation services.
During his collegiate career, Mr. Nawar earned a Bachelor's degree from McGill University, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa. He is a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.
In spite of a busy schedule, Mr. Nawar enjoys social activities, international vacations, physical exercise, classical music, swimming, and action-packed novels.
