With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Higgs possesses expertise in team development and C-level hiring. She has built global talent strategies and taken organizations from paper to paperless in the process. She serves as the director of talent acquisition for Space Systems/Loral, a satellite company that specializes in the provision of space systems. Her postion entails creating and executing strategic programs, policies and procedures that deliver strong ROI. She also supports corporate strategic goals, rebuilds global talent acquisition organizations, and oversees training and development. Ms. Higgs intends to continue working in this capacity in the years to come.
In 1994, Ms. Higgs earned a bachelor's degree in human resource management from Rochville University. She previously earned a bachelor's degree in education training from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her professional affiliations include SHRM, NACE and NCHRA. Aside from work, Ms. Higgs is a Reiki practitioner; she enjoys meditating and yoga.
