Cambridge Who's Who Names Debra A. Bartz Professional of the Year in Commercial Aviation
Debra Bartz has flown for both the U.S. Air Force and United Airlines during the course of a 30-year career
CLAYTON, CA, May 24, 2011 /Aerospace - Aviation PR News/ -- Debra A. Bartz, Captain Airbus 320 of the San Francisco Operations of United Airlines, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Commercial Aviation. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline is chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
A retired U.S. Air Force pilot, Ms. Bartz thrives in her second career in the private sector as captain of an Airbus 320 for United Airlines, and revels in her role of operating commercial aircraft and mentoring current and aspiring pilots. Blessed with many talents, Ms. Bartz also recently launched her own health and wellness proprietorship, through which she exhorts clients to take action in their lives. The recipient of multiple military ribbons, she attributes her success to her leadership skills and ability to see projects through from beginning to end.
Ms. Bartz received a Master of Science in 1989 from Golden Gate University, and is currently pursuing certifications in nutrition and life coaching. She sits on the board of Women Military Aviators, Inc. and is affiliated with The National Association of Professional Women. As she moves forward in her career, Ms. Bartz intends to become a life coach attending specifically to incest survivors.
