Jerry Wolfe to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Jerry Wolfe is the recipient of three Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal
MEMPHIS, TN, June 15, 2010 /Aerospace - Aviation PR News/ -- Jerry Wolfe, Pilot/Check Airman/FAA Designee for FedEx, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in commercial and military aviation operations.
With 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Wolfe specializes in Flight Operations including flight test, training, standards, and operations. He instructs and evaluates in simulators and aircraft, and is a flight manual content expert and a fleet standardization specialist. He currently instructs and evaluates as a FAA Designee in the Boeing 777 aircraft and simulator. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot and a Flight Engineer rating and has Type Ratings in the A-310, B-727, B-737, B-777, DA-20, DC-10, L-300, L-382, and MD-11 aircraft. FedEx is an International Logistics company and they are currently introducing the Boeing 777 into their fleet of aircraft. Mr. Wolfe was in the Air Force as a pilot and flew in the Vietnam War where he was the recipient of three Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal. He has also held several management positions at FedEx in the Flight Test, Flight Training and Standards, and Flight Operations Departments.
Mr. Wolfe has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and physical education. He became involved in his profession due to his military flight training, and attributes his success to his hard work, dedication and professionalism. In early 2010, he intends to retire from FedEx and pursue a third career in aviation to include flying, training, management and consulting.
