Tony Alvarez Honored by Exclusive Professional Networking Organization
Tony Alvarez named Cambridge Who's Who "Professional of the Year in Aerospace Project Management" for 2009
DORAL, FL, April 12, 2010 /Aerospace - Aviation PR News/ --Tony Alvarez, Aerospace Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in aerospace project management.
Mr. Alvarez possesses over 20 years of experience in aerospace project management and uses his acquired expertise to oversee Six Sigma and lean manufacturing processes. Mr. Alvarez is also responsible for materials operations, proposals, designs and facility management.
Mr. Alvarez initially started in the automotive and casting industry. Through determination, perseverance and adept networking, Mr. Alvarez made a smooth transition into the aerospace industry. He has since become a certified automation professional and successfully submitted a designing system to the Federal Aviation Administration. In 2006, Mr. Alvarez conducted a seminar at the Federal Aviation Administration, demonstrating his field expertise and gaining the recognition of his professional peers. Looking forward, Mr. Alvarez seeks to obtain a leadership role and head his own team.
Mr. Alvarez holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Florida, earned in 1984, and a bachelor's degree from Eckerd College, earned in 1981. A member of the American Society for Quality, Mr. Alvarez is certified as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. He has received several awards and honors throughout his prosperous career. This year, Mr. Alvarez was named Cambridge Who's Who "Professional of the Year in Aerospace Project Management" for his invaluable services to the field. Only two members from each industry are chosen annually from a membership registry of over 400,000 members.
